6 weeks ago I fractured my wrist a day after takin $6 weeks ago I fractured my wrist a day after taking this photo. We were on vacation to ski up north. 2 days later I had surgery, with a metal plate and screws added to hold my bones together. . Ironically, this short trip away ended up highlighting that I needed even more boundaries and space in my life. With the added commitment of healing and extensive OT, I all of a sudden found myself with almost no white space in my life and not enough time for my children or my partner. . I don’t want to live a life in which I suddenly cannot carve out any time when one thing changes. And I am lucky enough that I don’t have to. So this is my season of scaling way back. Setting boundaries, letting go of things, and learning that I don’t have to be everything to everybody. And committing to only taking on as much as I can and do those things well.$
