The postpartum period is a joyful time, but it can also be overwhelming and challenging to adjust to your new role while also recovering from giving birth. Your hormones are readjusting and you and your family are readjusting to a new normal.
If you are pregnant, I’m sure that you cannot wait to meet your baby. But maybe you aren’t quite sure how you’ll adjust to this huge life transition. If you’ve just had your baby, you might be experiencing conflicting feelings of joy, uncertainty and overwhelm. What if you could head into your birth knowing that you had plans in place to help you transition peacefully into parenthood? What if you knew you would have somewhere to look to find resources to answer the many questions that might arise in those early days with baby? Wouldn’t it feel great to know that when baby is born you already have healing supplies, breastfeeding necessities, and pre-made food ready? What a relief it would be to be able to ask for exactly the help and support that you need from your friends and family!
While it is impossible to fully know how you will feel during the early days with baby, you can do some planning ahead to help optimize your chances of having a peaceful, fulfilling postpartum period. I have created a Postpartum Wellness Toolkit to help you do just this. In the toolkit, you’ll get a postpartum planning worksheet to help you think about and plan for all different facets of your postpartum wellness. You’ll also get a supply list of suggested postpartum items, a handy page to hang on your refrigerator that tells your friends and family how they can best help you, and a collection of inspiring postpartum affirmations to encourage you during those tough moments. And if you already have your newborn in your arms, it’s not too late! You can still use the worksheet and supply list, and I know you’ll love the affirmations.
When you get the toolkit, you’ll also be opting into my email list and you’ll receive twice-monthly newsletter updates from me. Updates usually include pregnancy, birth, and postpartum inspiration, tips for owning your birth and planning for postpartum wellness, and any current news or events that might be of interest to you in your childbearing year. You can always unsubscribe from the list if you want to, and you’ll still have the Postpartum Wellness Toolkit.
